Google Drive Integration

Every invoice, filed in Google Drive

Tailride captures your invoices from every source, names each one consistently, and saves it straight to Google Drive — a tidy, searchable archive that fills itself.

Keeping invoices on file

You need the PDFs stored somewhere findable. Most ways to get them there are manual, messy, or both.

Download and upload

Slowest

Open each email, save the attachment, rename it, drag it into a folder. Doable for five invoices a month, torture at fifty.

Email-to-Drive add-on

Limited

A Gmail add-on can auto-save attachments. It won't filter non-invoices, won't name files consistently, and misses portal invoices completely.

Zapier / Apps Script

Fragile

Wire up an automation to save Gmail attachments. Breaks when layouts shift, can't read the document, and won't pull from portals.

or automate it

Connect once, then forget about it

Four short steps link Tailride to Google Drive — no scripts, no add-ons to maintain.

1

Sign up free

Tailride pulls all your invoices into one place — inbox, uploads and supplier portals. Start free →

2

Connect Google Drive

Authorise Drive through Google's own sign-in — no scripts to write, no add-ons to install.

3

Invoices arrive automatically

Tailride watches your inbox, pulls portal invoices through the extension, and reads each one with AI.

4

Find them filed in Drive

Each invoice lands in Google Drive as a named PDF — ready to search, download or share.

A filing cabinet that fills itself

Every invoice Tailride reads ends up in Drive, named and sorted without you lifting a finger.

Captures from your inbox

Connect Gmail, Outlook or IMAP and Tailride reads invoices as they arrive — attachments and in-body invoices alike.

Named to your pattern

Files land with a name built from date, vendor, amount and invoice ID — in the order and separator you set. No more 'Invoice (3).pdf'.

Reaches supplier portals

Invoices behind a login count too. The Tailride browser extension grabs them from portals like Amazon and Meta. Browse portals →

Read by AI first

Each invoice is extracted before it's filed — so the filename carries real data instead of whatever the sender chose to call it.

Duplicates filtered out

The same invoice won't land twice. Tailride catches repeats before they clutter your archive.

Back-fills your history

Don't start from an empty folder. Tailride reaches back through your mailbox and files past invoices in one pass. Retroactive scanning →

Google Drive — common questions

Which Google account does Tailride connect to?
You authorise Google Drive through Google's own secure sign-in, and Tailride files invoices into the Drive account you connect.
Where do the invoices end up?
In Google Drive, as clean, consistently named PDFs, kept together so the archive stays tidy and searchable.
How are the files named?
To a naming pattern you set in Settings, built from components like date, vendor, invoice ID, amount and currency, in the order and separator you choose.
Does Tailride also log invoices to a Google Sheet?
Google Sheets is a separate Tailride integration you can switch on alongside Drive. With it connected, each invoice also lands as a row in a spreadsheet, giving you a filterable index next to the files.
Can I also send invoices to my accounting software?
Yes. Filing to Drive locks nothing in. The same invoices can sync to QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo or Business Central at the same time.
What happens to my data?
Files move over encrypted connections and are guarded by access controls. Mailbox access is read-only and used only to find invoices, and your data is never used to train AI models. It is not sold and is shared only with the providers running the service, under contract. Tailride is EU-based with a DPA on request.
How much does it cost?
You pay per document processed, not per user. The free tier handles 10 invoices a month with no card required. See pricing →
