Invoice collection for Windows, from the system tray
An installer for your own PC, and a portable version for computers where you can't install software. The app sits in the system tray, collects invoices on the schedule you choose, and keeps your logins in Windows' protected storage.

01Download the installer
It installs for your Windows user only — no administrator password needed.
02Run it
If Windows shows a blue warning, click More info, then Run anyway. It appears once for new apps.
03Sign in
Tailride opens tailride.so in your browser to sign you in. The app then appears in the system tray.
04Add your first supplier
A short setup confirms your schedule and how far back to go, then opens the list of portals.
The portable version
The portable version runs straight from the file, without installing anything. It keeps its settings and logins in a "Tailride Data" folder next to the file, so you can keep it on a USB stick or in a folder you control. It never updates itself — "Check for updates" tells you when a new version is out and takes you to the download.
If you turn on "Start at login", keep the file where it is — Windows remembers its location.

Protected storage
Portal passwords and authenticator keys are stored in Windows' protected storage, tied to your Windows account — no one else on the PC can read them.
Where your invoices go
Every invoice goes to your Tailride account and is also saved in Downloads\Tailride, sorted by supplier. Pick a different folder in Settings.
Updates
The installed version checks for updates on its own and installs them when you restart it. You can turn this off in Settings.
Proton Mail
Install Proton Mail Bridge for Windows, then add Proton Mail as a supplier in Tailride.
Uninstalling
Uninstall like any other app; it removes its own data too. Your invoice PDFs in Downloads are kept.
Questions about the Windows app
Installer or portable?
Installer for your own PC — it keeps itself up to date. Portable for a shared or company PC where you can't install software, or if you want to keep it on a USB stick.
Do I need an administrator password?
No. The installer works for your own Windows user, and the portable version installs nothing at all.
Does it use Edge or Chrome?
No. The app has its own built-in browser that it uses only for your portals, kept separate from Edge, Chrome and your other browsers.
Where do my PDFs end up?
In your Tailride account, and in Downloads\Tailride on this PC, sorted by supplier and account.
