One download works on every Mac. The app sits in your menu bar, collects invoices on the schedule you choose, and keeps your portal logins in your Mac's Keychain.

01Download the .dmg
The same file works on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
02Drag Tailride to Applications
Open the downloaded file and drop the app into your Applications folder.
03Open it and sign in
Tailride opens tailride.so in your browser to sign you in. The app then appears in your menu bar.
04Add your first supplier
A short setup confirms your schedule and how far back to go, then opens the list of portals.
"Tailride cannot be opened because Apple cannot verify it"
macOS shows this the first time it sees some apps. Right-click Tailride in Applications, choose Open, then click Open in the dialog — or allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security. You only need to do this once.
Good to know on a Mac
Keychain
Portal passwords and authenticator keys are stored in your Mac's Keychain — the same place Safari keeps your passwords.
Where your invoices go
Every invoice goes to your Tailride account and is also saved in Downloads/Tailride, sorted by supplier. Pick a different folder in Settings.
Updates
The app checks for updates on its own and installs them when you restart it. You can turn this off in Settings.
Proton Mail
Install Proton Mail Bridge for Mac, then add Proton Mail as a supplier in Tailride.
Uninstalling
Settings → Advanced → Delete data, then move Tailride to the Trash.

Which Macs are supported?
Any current Mac, Apple Silicon or Intel. The one download works on both.
Does it use Safari?
No. The app has its own built-in browser that it uses only for your portals, kept separate from Safari and your other browsers.
Can I watch it work?
Yes. Settings → Advanced → Show browser window shows what the app is doing on the portal, and you can stop a run from the menu bar at any time.
Where do my PDFs end up?
In your Tailride account, and in Downloads/Tailride on this Mac, sorted by supplier and account.
