# Tailride > Tailride collects supplier invoices and receipts automatically — from email inboxes, supplier portals, Proton Mail, OneDrive folders, local folders and phone scans — extracts the data, and syncs the documents to accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, sevDesk, Lexware Office, e-conomic, Odoo, Sage, FreeAgent, Holded, Business Central) and cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, Google Sheets), with DATEV export, webhooks, a public API and a Zapier app for everything else. Tailride is made by Tailride (tailride.so). Products: web dashboard, browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Firefox; Safari coming), desktop app (macOS, Windows, Linux), mobile app (Android; iOS in TestFlight beta; https://tailride.so/mobile), email forwarding and inbox scanning. Pricing is credit-based and shared across all products; there is no per-device fee. Site languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian. ## Desktop app (macOS, Windows and Linux) Tailride Desktop collects invoices from supplier portals, mailboxes (Gmail, Microsoft 365, iCloud, Yahoo, GMX, IONOS, Proton Mail and any IMAP server) and folders on the user's computer, on a schedule the user chooses — passwords stay on the user's computer, not on a cloud server. - Runs from the menu bar / system tray on a user-chosen schedule (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly), per supplier or mailbox if wanted; catches up after sleep, starts at login. App UI in 7 languages. - Same supplier portals as the browser extension (Amazon in every marketplace, Stripe, AWS, Google Ads, Google Cloud, Microsoft 365, Adobe, Meta Ads, OpenAI, GitHub, Vercel, Notion, Figma, Uber, …); full list at https://tailride.so/online-portals. Not every supplier that has a /from page is supported by the desktop app. - Optional saved passwords, encrypted with a key held by macOS Keychain / Windows DPAPI / Linux Secret Service (GNOME Keyring, KWallet); unattended TOTP two-factor login; several accounts per portal with isolated sessions; shared sign-in groups. - Mailboxes: Gmail and Microsoft 365 (incl. shared mailboxes) via browser sign-in; iCloud, Yahoo, GMX, IONOS and any IMAP server via app password; Proton Mail through Proton Mail Bridge (requires a paid Proton plan). Mail is read on the user's computer; HTML receipts become PDFs, invoices behind links are downloaded, and a local pre-check skips messages that clearly are not invoices. XML e-invoices (XRechnung, Factur-X/ZUGFeRD, Peppol UBL, FatturaPA incl. .p7m, Facturae) are read directly. - Search and install suppliers from the Tailride catalogue; teach a missing supplier by showing the app once, or with Find with AI (user's own OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini key). - Client workspaces for accountants: several Tailride accounts collected in parallel from one computer. - Watched local folders (PDF and images, uploaded as-is) with content-hash duplicate detection; Factur-X / ZUGFeRD XML embedded in PDFs is read by Tailride after upload. - Windows installer and portable build; macOS universal (Apple Silicon and Intel); Linux .deb for Ubuntu and Debian and an AppImage for other distributions (x86-64). Free download; updates from GitHub Releases. - Stable download links: https://tailride.so/api/desktop/download?os=mac · https://tailride.so/api/desktop/download?os=windows · https://tailride.so/api/desktop/download?os=windows-portable · https://tailride.so/api/desktop/download?os=linux · https://tailride.so/api/desktop/download?os=linux-appimage - [Desktop app](https://tailride.so/desktop): hub page with features, desktop-vs-extension comparison and FAQ - [Tailride for Mac](https://tailride.so/desktop/mac) - [Tailride for Windows](https://tailride.so/desktop/windows) - [Tailride for Linux](https://tailride.so/desktop/linux) - [Desktop release notes](https://tailride.so/desktop/changelog) - [Download invoices and receipts from Proton Mail](https://tailride.so/proton-mail) - [Watched folders](https://tailride.so/features/folder-sync): every new PDF or photo in a folder on your computer is picked up once - [E-invoices](https://tailride.so/features/e-invoices): ZUGFeRD / Factur-X, XRechnung (UBL and CII), Peppol BIS UBL, FatturaPA (.p7m) and Facturae read directly from their XML - [Desktop app docs](https://docs.tailride.so/desktop) - [GitHub releases](https://github.com/Tailride/desktop-releases/releases) ## Products and features - [Browser extension](https://tailride.so/extension): Chrome, Edge and Firefox; one-click invoice download from supplier portals - [Firefox add-on](https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/tailride-invoice-downloader/) - [Mobile app](https://tailride.so/mobile): Android and iPhone/iPad — document scanning (up to 20 pages per PDF, batch mode), import from photos/Files/share menu, offline upload queue, review/edit/approve invoices, connect mailboxes; 7 languages.
